Course Overview
Eternal University Baru Sahib is running M.Sc. Ag. Horticulture (Vegetable Science) under Dr Khem Singh Gill Akal College of Agriculture. This postgraduate degree programme comprises of four semesters, during each semester, students will have to face separate sets of theoretical subjects as well as practical lab sessions associated with those subjects along with the research activities. The curriculum framed to study environment friendly practices of horticultural crop production which include plant propagation, nutrient management, production, protection, breeding and post harvest handling of fruits, vegetables and ornamental plants. To enhance the skills of students in resource management and sustainable production, Eternal University has established the orchards of different fruits and constructed polyhouse for protected cultivation.
