Department of Microbiology, Akal College of Basic Sciences organized an invited lecture on "Beneficial Microbes for Sustainable Development" on 18th September 2021 held through online mode. Our distinguished Speaker Prof.Joginder Singh, from Department of Microbiology, School of Bioengineering and Biosciences, Lovely Professional University (Punjab) shares his valuable knowledge and ideas with the participants and emphasized the need for sustainable development through utilization of microbial inoculants, biofertilizers and mycorrhizae in agricultural practices. Undergraduate students, M.Sc. students, Ph.D. scholars and faculty members took active part in discussion and Q&A session during the event. The interactive session was ended with vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Nasib Singh.
