Advancing research excellence and innovation through collaborative partnerships
To develop a functional role-based structure of organization under Research and Development Cell (RDC), formulate Research Policy (RP) for the Eternal University, identify thrust areas of research and form related cluster groups/ frontline teams/consortia of researchers.
To develop enabling provisions in Research Policies for the recruitment of research personnel, procurement of equipment and financial management with adequate autonomy to the Principal Investigators (PIs) and disseminate research outcomes to the stakeholders and the public at large.
To establish a special purpose vehicle to promote innovators and researchers, identify probable collaborators from research organizations, industry, academic institutions and stakeholders for the cooperation and synergistic partnerships.
To act as a liaison between relevant research funding agencies and researchers to extend guidance in preparation and submission of research project proposals and post-sanctioning of different research grants to supervise adherence to timelines.
To have healthier coordination among other cells or centres dealing with the University-Industry Inter Linkage, Incubation and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
To create an Institutional Research Information System (IRIS) for sharing the status of completed/ongoing research projects/ programmes, expertise and resources to make effective use of the Information & Communication Technology (ICT) for preparing the database of in-house experts to offer industrial consultancy and services.
To engage and utilize the services of superannuated faculty/scientists in research capacity building of talented young minds to promote mobility of researchers across the institutions and Research & Development Labs.
To serve as nodal centre for ideation and conceptualization of research topics/themes through organizing training programs and workshops and ensuring the integrity and ethical practices in the research activities including the clearance of bioethical committee wherever required.
