Inter-College Fresher’s Talent Hunt: Singing Competition-2022

Music Club, Eternal University organized an “EU Inter-College Fresher’s Talent Hunt: Singing Competition -2022” on 1st December, 2022 at university level in the auditorium from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. In this competition more than 35 students of all seven colleges were performed and scored different positions. The programme started with a welcome address by Dr. Purvi Luniyal, Dean, Akal College of Arts & Social Science as well as the Coordinator Music Club.  The programme was especially organized for new admitted students to showcase their talent. One by one students performed and sung the beautiful songs in their melodious voices. All students in the auditorium enjoyed every performance and boost the confidence of the participants. Students sung the classical, Punjabi, Hindi, Pahari as well as motivational songs. All performances were judged by the invited judges Dr. Deepika, Ms. Rajwinder Kaur, Ms. Jasmeet Kaur, Dr. Puneet Negi and they selected the best performances as winners of the competition. During the closing ceremony, Prof. A. S Ahluwalia, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr. Surjan Singh, along with judges and organizers gave the momentous and certificate of appreciation to the winners of the singing competition where students of B. Com. Japneet Kaur and Manpreet Kaur stood first, Amritanjali Sharma (Ph. D Music) stood second and Jiya Sharma (Nursing) along with Navjot and Yashika from B. Sc. Agriculture secured third position in the competition. The Chief Guest Prof. A. S. Ahluwalia, Pro-Vice Chancellor addressed the audience and congratulated the participant for their enthusiastic performances. He said that there is no dearth of art in girl students and today he saw a new enthusiasm in all participants. In the last, Dr. Purvi Luniyal closed the event by saying that music, art and painting are the gifts of God to all of us. The programme was organized to bring out that skills which helps the students to increase the confidence that was successfully done.
