Departmental Activity
Department of Physics organized an educational visit on 28-06-2022 to know about “Prakti Air” (a device installed in traditional stoves nearby Eternal University Baru Sahib) in order to explore some new innovative ideas among the students related to the same. Dr. Puneet Negi, Assistant Professor & Officiating Head Department of Physics was the convener of the event. Faculty members, Dr. Poonam Kumari & Dr. Madan Lal actively participated in the event. Er. Leo Taranta-Slack, Product Development Engineer, Prakti Pvt Ltd explained about the “Prakti Air”. M.Sc. students Nivedita, Ayushi and Nisha including Ph.D. scholars Ms. Gagandeep Kaur and Ms. Priyanka also enthusiastically participated in the event and asked interesting questions to Er. Leo. “Prakti Air” is a device installed in traditional stoves makes it relatively less smoky, reduces wood consumption and reduces cooking time.
