Reflecting on a Month-Long Celebration: National Science Day-2024 at Eternal University, Baru Sahib SirmourEternal University, Baru Sahib, illuminated the spirit of discovery in collaboration with esteemed partners: Himachal Pradesh Council for Science, Technology and Environment (HIMCOSTE), Department of Environment, Science Technology & Climate Change (Govt. of Himachal Pradesh), and National Council for Science and Technology Communication (DST, Govt. of India).
From February 06 to 29, 2024, we paid homage to the groundbreaking discovery of the Raman Effect by the illustrious physicist Sir C.V. Raman. Our mission was clear: to ignite the flames of curiosity, ingenuity, and scientific inquiry among the bright minds of tomorrow.
Throughout the festivities, participants immersed themselves in a spectrum of activities and competitions, ranging from Science models and Olympiads to Rangoli and Mehndi art, Nature walks, Painting & Poster making, Science quizzes, Debates, and Declamations.
Under the exceptional leadership of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Davinder Singh Ji and Worthy Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. A. S. Ahluwalia Ji, alongside Prof. Sandipan Gupta, Dean, ACBS & Convener, Dr. Neelam Thakur and Dr. Surjan Singh as Co-conveners, the event galvanized participation and fostered a culture that celebrates innovation and embraces the scientific spirit with unwavering resolve. Awards and certificates were presented to the meritorious participants, acknowledging their outstanding contributions.
