World Wildlife Day, celebrated on March 3 rd 2025, is a global event that highlights the importance of wildlife conservation. On this special occasion, the Department of Zoology, Akal College of Basic Sciences, Eternal University, Baru Sahib, organized a series of engaging activities to promote awareness and develop a sense of responsibility toward protecting wildlife. The event aimed to raise awareness about the critical role that wildlife plays in maintaining ecological balance and to encourage the younger generation to actively participate in wildlife preservation. A total of 15 students actively participated in various activities such as slogan writing, declamation, quiz competition, storytelling with a wildlife theme, wildlife photography, art and craft based on wildlife and poster making. All the students were rewarded for their participation, outstanding performance and their huge contribution to make this event a success. The e-certificates were awarded to the first, second, and third positions to reinforce their hard work, creativity, and passion for wildlife conservation. Additionally, all participants received a certificate of participation as a token of appreciation for their involvement in the event.
