Chhotte Sahibzade [ sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji] attained martyrdom on 26 December 1704 at a very young age of 9 and 6 only. This is known as Saka Sirhind. Every year on 24 to 26 December, Shaheedi Jor Mela also known as Shaheedi Jor Sabha is organised at Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab to commemorate the supreme sacrifice at the place of their martyrdom. To commemorate the heroic deeds of these two elder sons of Guru Gobind Singh that keep inspiring the young Sikh generations to rise to the occasion whenever called upon to fight for justice and rights against injustice and cruelty for all times to come, the AIRWE students offer Shabad & Dhadi Wara on Shaheedi Dihada.
