Short Nature Trip
Short Nature Trip
Going on a nature walk and deliberately noticing things encourages students to observe with all their senses. Students can learn to focus their attention and take in the details of things around them. It can be a peaceful, reflective experience for the students as well as for faculty also.
Nature provides countless opportunities for discovery, creativity and problem-solving. Interacting with natural environments allows students to learn by doing and experiment with ideas. In nature, students think, question, and make hypotheses — thereby developing inquisitive minds.
The positive effects of nature exposure include improved cognitive functioning (including increased concentration, greater attention capacities, and higher academic performance), better motor coordination, reduced stress levels, increased social interaction with adults and other children, and improved social skills. Therefore, this nature walk was advantageous for our students of BA Humanities Sem. VI.
