Drawing as a whole increases the observation skills. Free hand drawing is important because it connects our hands to minds. It encourages learning about the designed environment. Free hand drawing was organized by Akal College of education giving students an opportunity to express their ideas more efficiently.
Acting and Role: play Role play is a fun and playful activity but also a key component in children's learning. It is a social space that develops speaking and listening skills, as well as giving children the opportunity to reflect on and develop their knowledge of a topic, whilst sparking and enhancing creativity and imagination. The Akal College of Education under the creativity and innovation club organized a role play activity among students.
Poem and Song Recitation: Grammar, spelling, punctuation, gestures and so on, which are major parts of communication, cam also be improved upon when we learn how to use writing as a means of expressing our ideas and messages clearly and directly to our listeners. Prior to the day of Baisakhi, all the students of Akal model School were engaged in poem and song recitation organised by literary club of Akal College of Education.
Speech: The expression of or the ability to thoughts and feelings by articulate sounds called speaking. Speech is human vocal communication using language. The Akal college of Education was organised speech competition on 9 th April, 2022 in Akal model School to express the creativity and innovation of the students.
Calligraphy Writing Studies/ Researches show that writing improves memory, students retain learning better when working with new ideas through writing instead of typing. This is because it involves more complex motor and cognitive skills. A calligraphy writing was held in Akal model School, organised by Akal College of Education.
Beat Boxing and Model Making Beat boxing is a musical style and technique based on the vocal imitation of percussion sounds. This activity was organised by Akal College of Education in Akal Model School to show the child’s strengths in vocal cords. It also improves listening skill and can actually work to strengthen and protect his or her vocal cords. Model building is a hobby and career that involves the creation of physical models either from kits or from materials and component acquired by the builder. It allows everyone to engage with the design of spaces and contribute to the creative process. The Akal College of Education was organised the model making competition among students to show the creative process and innovation.
