Awareness lecture for World Mosquitoes Day-2022
Department of Microbiology, Akal College of Basic Sciences organized an awareness lecture to observe the World Mosquitoes Day-2022. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Nasib Singh, Associate Professor, Department of Microbiology on the topic "Mosquitoes- The Deadliest Animals" on 19th August 2022 at 5:00 PM. Undergraduate students, M.Sc. students, Ph.D. scholars and faculty members of various departments of ACBS took active part in discussion and Q&A session during the event. The participants were made aware about mosquitoes-transmitted deadly diseases of humans and how to control and prevent these. The interactive session was ended with vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Deep Chandra Suyal.
