Ph.D. Mathematics

Eternal University offers a full-time Ph.D. program in Mathematics with a minimum duration of three years. Admission to the program is through an entrance test conducted annually by the Department of Mathematics, Eternal University, Baru Sahib, during August–September.

The Ph.D. program in Mathematics is designed to foster advanced research and academic excellence in various domains of pure and applied mathematics. Offered through the Akal College of Basic Sciences, the program aims to equip scholars with a deep theoretical understanding and strong computational skills to address complex mathematical problems and real-world challenges.

Students are guided through rigorous coursework, intensive seminar presentations, and supervised research work culminating in a dissertation. Emphasis is placed on the development of analytical thinking, mathematical modelling, software tools, and interdisciplinary research capabilities. The program is structured to produce highly skilled researchers, academicians, and professionals who can contribute to the advancement of mathematical sciences and its applications in industry, technology, and society.

Candidates are expected to engage in extensive study, culminating in a thesis that reflects significant scholarly contribution. The program fosters a collaborative research environment, providing opportunities for participation in seminars, workshops, and conferences. Graduates of the Ph.D. program are well-prepared for careers in academia, research institutions, and industries that require high-level mathematical expertise.
