M.Sc. Botany

The Department of Botany at Eternal University stands as a beacon of botanical research and education in North-West India. Renowned for its teaching [4 Yrs. - B.Sc., 2 Yrs. - M.Sc. Botany under New Education Policy (NEP 2020)] and research (Ph.D. Botany), it is a hub where scholars and students converge to explore the wonders of plant life. With modern laboratories, botanic garden, and a dedicated faculty comprising researchers and eminent educators, the department nurtures a vibrant academic environment. Its interdisciplinary approach fosters collaborations across various fields, driving innovation and discovery in areas ranging from plant cytogenetics, molecular taxonomy, medicinal botany, phycology, plant pathology to ecology and environment. With the dedicated faculty staff and researchers, in the peaceful and safest environment of the mountain valley of Baru Sahib Campus (Sirmaur, H.P.), the Department has been inspiring the young generation of botanists with recent hands-on practical experiments and field cum laboratory research, thus contributing significantly to new understanding and conservation of the plant diversity.
