No Code Hackathon – Empowering Innovation Through Creativity and Rapid Prototyping

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Eternal University, Baru Sahib, successfully organized a No Code Hackathon from 22nd to 24th November 2025, bringing together students from 1st year to 4th year for an exciting, collaborative, and innovation-driven learning experience. Hosted in the University’s Computer Science Lab, this three-day event marked a significant step toward embracing modern development approaches that eliminate traditional coding barriers and empower students to build solutions using intuitive, no-code platforms.

This unique hackathon provided participants with a platform to engage in hands-on problem-solving by working on individually assigned projects in groups. Over the course of two days, students explored the power of automation tools, AI-driven features, and rapid application development techniques. By focusing on creativity, logic, and real-world problem identification rather than programming syntax, the event encouraged students to think innovatively and develop functional prototypes within a limited timeframe.

Throughout the hackathon, students worked on diverse project themes such as face recognition systems, travel planning tools, quiz generators, and productivity applications, demonstrating strong enthusiasm and technical curiosity. The event fostered interdisciplinary thinking, practical design approaches, and teamwork, enabling students to convert conceptual ideas into working solutions.

Faculty members from the Department of CSE played a crucial role by offering continuous mentorship, technical guidance, evaluation support, and constructive feedback. Their involvement ensured that each team stayed aligned with the project objectives while also promoting best practices in project design, process workflow, and presentation skills.

The hackathon highlighted Eternal University’s commitment to promoting innovative learning environments, modern technological exposure, and industry-aligned skill development. By integrating no-code platforms into a competitive and collaborative setting, the event helped students understand key principles of automation, AI integration, rapid prototyping, and project management—skills essential for the evolving tech industry.

As a milestone initiative, the No Code Hackathon successfully inspired students to pursue creativity with confidence, embrace alternative development methodologies, and explore technology beyond traditional programming. It served as a powerful reminder that impactful solutions can be designed with vision, teamwork, and the right tools—regardless of coding expertise.
