University, Baru Sahib have celebrated ozone day. The event was followed by the
lecture by a special guest Dr. Madhoolika Agrawal (FNA, FNASc, FNAAS,
Professor, BHU, Varanasi) through an online mode. In this programme, the
importance of ozone layer and their cause of depletion were discussed. After
that through video clip delivered a current scenario of ozone layer in the
world. The students of B.Sc (Hons.) Agriculture, Ashil Sharma, Preysi Sarmaik,
delivered a wonderful speech on the topic of Importance of Ozone layer and its
conservation.Twenty students presented through posters on the Ozone
conservation related which was amazing. In the end of sessions Honorable
Pro-Vice Chancellor of Eternal University discussed about the importance of
Ozone day celebration & encouraged the students to create awareness amongst
others, he also praised the efforts put by the organising team, Dr. Mahesh
Tripathi (Asst. Prof.), Dr. Shalini Singh (Asst. Prof). and Tanvir Kaur (Ph.D.
Research Scholar) and staff of Eternal University
