Ø National eye donation fortnight theme
Eye Donation Day 2021
We have over 20,000 new cases of blindness in a year because of eye injuries. Vitamin A deficiency, infection, malnutrition and lots of other problems. The eyes of humans can only be restored with the help of a corneal transplant.
The government has launched numerous campaigns to increase eye donations and give people the knowledge and information they need to prevent and heal. It is also important to give each person the knowledge of the Camps of the Eye donation.
The National Eye Donation Fortnight is celebrated to create general public awareness about the importance of eye donation and to motivate people to pledge their eyes for donation after death.
