Master of Science in Physics is a comprehensive two-year postgraduate program designed to provide students with a deep understanding of fundamental and applied concepts in physics. The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge, experimental techniques, computational skills, and research training, preparing students for academic, industrial, and research careers.
The programme offers two pathways: with and without a research component. Students opting for the research pathway can specialize in the areas of Materials Science or Renewable Energy.
Upon completion of the programme, graduates will demonstrate mastery in core and specialized areas of Physics such as Quantum Mechanics, Classical Mechanics, Statistical Physics, Electrodynamics, Condensed Matter Physics, Materials Science & Nanotechnology or Renewable Energy. They will conduct standard laboratory procedures with proficiency and adhere to scientific standards. Graduates will apply Physics concepts to solve complex real-world problems.
The M.Sc. Physics program is structured to foster analytical thinking, scientific inquiry, and technical expertise. It equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue research, teaching, or professional roles in science and technology, both in academia and industry.
Scholarships: Scholarships are available for Meritorious Girls, whilst, tuition fee waiver for Single Girl Child, Two Real Sisters, and Wards of Defence Personals subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria as notified by the competent authority of the University.
