Occasion: Guru Teg Bahadur ji de shahidi dhihara
Description:
The teachers and students of the Department of Music,
Eternal University Baru Sahib will be performing Shabad Kirtan and Dhadi
Vaaran at Gurudwara Sahib Shimla from 1st Nov to 3rd Nov 2025.
This devotional event is being organized to commemorate the Shaheedi Dihara
(Martyrdom Day) of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the 9th Guru
of the Sikhs who sacrificed his life to uphold the values of righteousness,
truth, and religious freedom.
The performances will include soulful renditions of Gurbani Kirtan and traditional
Dhadi Vaaran reflecting the spiritual teachings and heroic legacy of Guru Tegh
Bahadur Ji. The event aims to inspire the sangat (congregation) with divine
music and to strengthen faith and unity among devotees.
Conclusion:
The Shabad
Kirtan and Dhadi Vaaran program by the teachers and students of Eternal
University, Baru Sahib, stands as a Symbol of Devotion, Learning, and
service. It is a sincere attempt to keep alive the soulful traditions of
Sikh music while spreading the universal message of peace, equality, and
righteousness as taught by Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji
