Objectives:

provide students with practical exposure to wastewater treatment
processes.

enhance understanding of the operational stages involved in sewage
treatment.

strengthen students’ knowledge of environmental management and pollution
control measures.
Brief description: The
educational visit was conducted to offer hands-on learning about various stages
of sewage treatment and their significance in maintaining environmental
hygiene. Under faculty (Dr. Rakesh Joshi) supervision, students observed major
treatment units. The visit encouraged active student engagement, prompting
insightful discussions and queries related to wastewater management and
sustainability.
Outcomes of the Program:
- Students
gained direct insight into the functioning and importance of sewage
treatment systems.
- They
developed a clear understanding of the mechanical, biological, and
chemical processes involved in wastewater purification.
