REPORT OF SHABAD KIRTAN PROGRAM

Occasion: Samagam (Sant Baba Santokh Singh jite Bhai Darshan Singh ji di SalanaBarsi)
Introduction:
A spiritually uplifting Sant Samagam was organized at
Gurudwara Cheema Sahib from 9th July to 11th July 2025 to commemorate the Annual
Barsi(Death Anniversary) of Sant Baba Santokh Singh Ji and Bhai Darshan Singh
Ji. The three-day event witnessed an overwhelming participation of Sangat(Devotees)
from nearby villages and cities.
Program
Details:
The central highlight of the event was the performance
of Shabad Kirtan, a traditional Sikh form of devotional singing. A group of nine
(09) participants contributed to this spiritual offering, delivering soulful
renditions of Gurbani Sangeet that inspired and uplifted the Sangat
Daily KirtanDiwan was held from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM,
featuring renowned RagiJathas and Katha Vachaks, who recited Shabad Kirtan and
delivered inspirational discourses on the teachings of Guru Sahib and the
contributions of Baba Ji and Bhai Sahib Ji.
Gurbani Katha sessions were held in the afternoon,
focusing on Sikh values, spiritual growth, and the legacy of the saints being
remembered.
Langar (community kitchen) was served throughout the
day, prepared and managed by dedicated sevadaars, ensuring that all attendees
were cared for with humility and devotion.
The program culminated with Ardas and Bhog of Akhand Path
Sahib on the final day (11th July), followed by Guru KaLangar and Guru's
blessings shared among the sangat.
Conclusion:
The Samagam served not only as a tribute to the
spiritual legacy of Sant Baba Santokh Singh Ji and Bhai Darshan Singh Ji, but
also as a source of spiritual rejuvenation for all who attended. The messages
of seva (selfless service), simran (meditation), and unity resonated deeply
with the sangat.
The organizers extended their gratitude to all
participating jathas, sevadaars, and sangat for making the event a grand
spiritual success.
