Course Overview

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering offers 4-year B.Tech. programme in Computer Science & Engineering. At the undergraduate level, the Department lays emphasis on Software Engineering, Algorithm Analysis and Design, Operating Systems, Computer Graphics, Databases, Java Programming, Networking Technologies. In final year there are wide range of subject selection i.e. Cloud Computing, Network Security, Python for data science, Software Engineering Essentials, Web Security, R Basics, Mobile Development, Natural Language Processing, Speech Reorganization, IOT, Bigdata, Computer Forensics etc. If students wants undergo on internship program from industry in final year, students can also produce certification of the courses selected from the Curriculum and prepared online from Swayam, MOOC or any approved online courses to acquire minimum credits under credit transfer scheme. Department also offers mandatory 6-8 weeks summer internships before completion of under graduation. A novel concept of Induction Program and Virtual Laboratories has also been introduced in the Model Curriculum.

Eligibility

On the basis of JEE (Main) with 15% marks for general category and 10% marks for reserved category or HPCET with 20% marks for general category and 15% marks for reserved category or on the basis of 10+2 examination with 45% marks.
