It is a two-year postgraduate programme distributed in four semesters initiated with an objective to provide advanced knowledge on various aspects of biology and chemistry along with the application of technology in these sciences. The major areas of focus are Plant Biotechnology, Crop Molecular Breeding, Microbial Biotechnology, Nano-Biotechnology, Enzyme Biotechnology and Bioinformatics.
