Course Overview
Eternal university offered full time Ph.D. programme in mathematics. Minimum duration of this programme is three years. Research scholars enrolled in this program through entrance test which is conducted by department of mathematics Eternal University Baru Sahib in August – September every year. There are only four sheets in Ph.D. programme. Thrust Areas of research are application of wavelets, Numerical Methods, ordinary and partial differential equations, Mathematical modelling in heat and mass transfer in heat exchangers, mathematical modelling in cancer and tumor moving boundary Value problem, mathematical modelling in drying fruits. Fuzzy logic, Image processing, Finsler geometry and manifolds, reliability theory and operations research.

Future Prospects
There are many opportunities after completion of Ph.D. in Mathematics. For further study one can apply for post doctorate fellowship. For teaching job in private and government universities, basic qualification is Ph.D. , there are many other job opportunities available for Ph.D. degree holders such as research scientist in different research agencies, Statistical research, research and development firms, Space centre, DRDO, BARC etc. Any one get good package if advance computing skills and good knowledge of statistical tools added.
